IDENTITY: LIVING IN SOUL TRUTH & PURPOSE
THE A-HA MOMENT
Download this Self-Alignment worksheet and take a few minutes to get to know yourself again.
I had a major A-HA moment recently while listening to my favorite podcasts and music for hours on end driving to and from Arizona.
The artists who resonate the most with me are the ones who dig the deepest and are the most vulnerable. The ones who come from a place of pure soul-alignment.
Creators who are not afraid to show all sides of themselves are the ones who make the biggest impact on others; and the thing we’re most attracted to in these artists and creators is NOT the money, fame, or fortune, it is their vulnerability.
WE ARE ATTRACTED TO THE VULNERABILITY IN OTHERS
We can see the pureness in the way they show up in their gifts and in the way they share their message.
Instead of pouring the majority of their energy into trying to be something they’re not, they pour all of their energy into channeling information that’s going to shift humanity in a positive direction through their gifted skills and talents; music, photography, spoken word, painting, accounting, teaching, healing, etc.
They keep their eye on the why without worrying about the how, and they just create for the sake of creating. You can see it in their mannerisms and in their glistening eyes. You can see the joy and bliss emanating from their very BEing.
They are fully and completely BEing themselves at every level.
That is flow. That is pure alignment. That is living in purpose.
It doesn’t matter what you do—real estate agent, entrepreneur, housekeeper—it matters that your truth and purpose flow through you in its purest form.
It doesn’t matter how many hours you work or don’t work, it matters that your truth and purpose flow through you in its purest form.
Each one of us is unique and special, and yet not one of us is more special than the next. We are all pieces of a collective puzzle.
TAKE YOUR MASKS OFF
Are you still wearing masks? If so, why? How would your life be different if you dropped all of the false identities you carry around with you on a daily basis and just showed up as your highest self?
Who is that highest self?
Who is the YOU that’s pure and unattached to everything that does not resonate with your soul purpose?
GRAB A PIECE OF PAPER, PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN, AND GIFT YOURSELF 15 MINUTES OF INNER RECONNECTION
Select three people who inspire you and make you feel like you want to be a better person. These people could be further along in a similar vocation, and could be someone in a completely different profession, and all are living in their truest purpose.
List three characteristics that stand out to you in each of those three people.
Then connect the dots in how they show up as that identity while in the integrity of their soul’s purpose.
While in silence, reflect on your own current identity in connection to your soul’s purpose. There will most likely be a gap and that’s ok.
This exercise is reconnecting your mind and body to who your soul knows you to be.
You are remembering who you are.
Once you’ve remembered who you are, create an avatar, a new identity, or ‘job’ description for you to grow into. Write it down in detail. Reread this each morning, or better yet, rewrite it every morning.
This is your true north. This is the YOU, or the ‘job’, that you’re working toward; and the best part is that YOU co-created it with the Universe and your soul.
Now, build your business, brand, life, relationships, and everything from that place. Take aligned action each and every day as if you are already that new identity and watch all of your masks, old habits, and patterns that no longer serve you melt away.
MY 2021 DECLARATION

I AM. I AM. I AM.
